Making History in 2004
Founded in 2004 BHHF started life as a one day celebration to promote Hip Hop culture and local artists, with an all day, free live stage event on Brighton Beach. More than 100 underground MCs, Turntablists, Graffiti writers and B-Boys & Girls from Brighton’s thriving Hip Hop community performed to over 2000 people. It was a massive success and demonstrated our belief that Hip Hop is a positive force that can bring people together to be inspired, express themselves and have a good time.
